On September 27 of this year, we were honored to be a part of the Lymphoma Research Ride, held by the Lymphoma Research Foundation.
We once again volunteered our mechanical services for the Gran Fondo National Championship here in Frederick.
We have a winner! John Thomas, Frederick County's Principal Planner and known bicycle enthusiast, won the Bike to Work grand prize, a Breezer i3 folding bike.

The Bicycle Escape, in conjunction with M.O.R.E., will be hosting bi-weekly night rides at Gambrill State Park on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. These rides will begin on November 5th and run through the March 18th.
This past Sunday several riders showed up for the second installment of The Bicycle Escape’s Photo Ride. The 18 mile ride was very casual with several stops to take photographs. We enjoyed the country roads in Walkersville and Thurmont.
Today The Bicycle Escape and the Single Speed Outlaws sponsored a very unique group ride. It was a casual paced road ride led by S.S.O. team member and photographer, Maili Godwin.
Last night (December 11, 2006) I (taking the picture) along with Tom (arrived after I took the picture), Mike (guy on the left in the picture) and his wife, Hayley (too hungry to be in the picture) joined a group of Frederick Pedalers in support of a proposed bicycle route connecting MD144 to the east with MD40 to the west.
Danielle and I have a great deal to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. In addition to celebrating good health, supportive family and great friends we have reached the one year anniversary of The Bicycle Escape.
