This rusty little Pilot was a really fun restoration project! The bicycle’s owner chose to have the bike painted and some of the more character-building pieces chromed. The finished product shows it all and her childhood bike is ready to go!We sourced a few salvage parts like the derailleur and the spoke guard but the rest of the bike was created with retro style new components. Almost everyone who happened into the shop commented on this little beauty. We love the paint color and the white cables set it off nicely. That said, we get the most gratification from “restoring” bicycling memories for our clients!
