This is a “Green” trip, so we hope to generate almost no disposable garbage. Customers will bring their own plate, cup, knife, fork and spoon that they wash after each meal. All drinks will be served from big coolers and snacks will be packaged for each rider in reusable baggies we provide.
What you must have:
- Tent (could be hammock), Sleeping bag, Plate, Bowl, Cup, Knife, Fork and Spoon
- Water bottles and Helmet for bike
- Flashlight/headlamp
- Bug-spray
What you should have:
- Clothes: Weather appropriate clothing. Our advice is to have clean clothes for sleeping. Hat is always comfortable for chilly mornings and bedhead.
- Bathing suit for swimming in the river and outdoor shower on Day 1.
- Raingear: should be carried on the bike
- Personal Grooming Accessories (PGA’s): Towel, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Soap, etc.
- Phone charger. Carry charging cord and ask restaurant folks if you can charge phone during breaks. We will also provide charging stations at the campgrounds.
- We would like all your gear to fit into a bin, large duffle or trash bag. Mark it with something unique (sticker or ribbon)
E-BIKE RIDERS: We have several strategies for providing enough outlets at the campgrounds where we are staying to ensure enough capacity to charge e-bike batteries, however, riders are ultimately responsible for using the batteries as efficiently as possible to ensure they can cover the distance each day.
