Bike Restoration

Our Restoration Work

Some things should never be thrown away and we love to breathe new life into old machines. If you’ve got a bike tucked away in the garage that you’d like to see restored to its former glory – bring it in and let us take a look. Here are a few of our favorite restorations to date.

Restored Shelby bicycle

1954 Shelby 52a Deluxe Ballooner

Unlocking the magic of memories never gets old, in fact, it is one of the more gratifying aspects of our job. Below is an example of one such restoration. The owner once again will ride the bicycle that he enjoyed so many years ago.

The bike is a 1954 Shelby 52a Deluxe Ballooner with all of the accessories that the owner remembered having as a kid.

Restored Pilot

Pilot

This rusty little Pilot was a really fun restoration project! The bicycle’s owner chose to have the bike painted and some of the more character-building pieces chromed. The finished product shows it all and her childhood bike is ready to go!We sourced a few salvage parts like the derailleur and the spoke guard but the rest of the bike was created with retro style new components. Almost everyone who happened into the shop commented on this little beauty. We love the paint color and the white cables set it off nicely. That said, we get the most gratification from “restoring” bicycling  memories for our clients!

Harry Havnoonian

We had the honor to bring this Harry Havnoonian back to life. The owner John wanted it repainted and modernized with fresh parts. It was not too beat up before but once complete the frame was absolutely striking!
